I'm in love with the brushes! They clean so well! Although they are a little price it's totally worth buying them!
Great items!!!!! I have tile in my home and cleaning the grout was a pain. Using the drill brush has cut my time to clean the grout tremendously. Brushes stand up to repeated use. They are still stiff but I do not use hot water with them as I have found any brissle will break down with the use of hot water. I just use a strong cleaning agent.
Holy moly! This tool is a Godsend. If there's one thing I hate cleaning, it's the shower basin. Usually it takes a lot of elbow grease along with some special cleaners and strong lungs to get the job done. No more! I bought the drill brush as one of those impulsive Lightning Deals, thinking it was more novelty than anything else. The proof is in the color I chose as yellow is my favorite color. So I got the yellow one to fit my liking. But honestly, I believed I was about to throw my money away on this and I guess I almost did.
Soon after giving it a go in the shower, I was done within 2 minutes. So I decided to use it on the bathroom sink. 30 seconds later, I did the other bathtub. 2 minutes after that, the other sink. Now, the surfaces I used them on were either fiberglass or porcelain, but they did a killer job.
Now is where this gets interesting. I became kind of obsessed with cleaning with these brushes. Seriously, give a man a power tool that cleans? I'm in! So I started becoming bothered with the chrome in my house. I've always known it to be dull, faded, with caked on stuff from just age. No Magic Eraser or this brush alone was doing the job. I honestly thought the hard water had just etched stains into the chrome. But then I got to thinking about a cleaner I had under my kitchen sink for my ceramic cooktop: Bar
It was just what I needed
Really works well. Cleans grout effectively.
Most if not all of us have seen the commercial for cleaning brushes that spin. With that said they just don't look like they have enough torq to get the job done. I actually enjoyed scrubbing up the kitchen and bathrooms with these. First I used the rounded domed brush to scrub the kitchen sink. We have a stainless sink. I'm never happy they way it scrubs up when scrubbing by hand. I'm chemically sensitive so all I used was the spin attachment on my husband's Ryobi cordless drill and a little dish soap. Sparkly clean! Next I used the small attachment and dish soap on my cook top. Once again sparkly clean. Next it was off to the master bathroom. Scrubbed the dirty tub with the rounded domed brush and the large round brush (for the bottom of the tub). Yet again- sparkly clean! Then it was the bathroom sink. I needed to change out the battery on the drill- but it wasn't a freshly charged battery when I started. Used the domed brush- yes again sparkly clean! Finally I went to clean the tub and sink in the second bathroom. Yep- sparkly clean. I actually enjoyed cleaning all these areas and I was very pleased at how clean things where when I was done. I don't know that they brushes will hold up to time and use BUT chemical cleaners are a problem for me and not good for our septic system so if I need to replace these brushes a couple of times yearly for me it would be an acceptable trade off.
I have used this now to clean two bathtub stalls tile. It has saved several hours of time, that justified the cost right there. and they show no signs of wear. unles you already have the small brush and corner brush, I would recommend the complete set over the single large flat scrubber brush. I used the large brush the most, but the others were nice for the corners and under the soap shelf.
Mixed up a paste with some Comet cleaner and went to work. These brushes OBLITERATED the mildew on the groutwork in my shower in seconds! Also removed stains in an old bathtub that no amount of hand scrubbing would ever touch. Awesome product.
his is quite literally the best invention ever. I'm not exaggerating! I bought this to use with my drill because I can never get the soap scum and hard water stains off my textured glass shower doors. I wish it was my house because I hate cleaning them so much, I would rip them out! But alas, it's not. These brushes, between the 3 of them, get into every nook and hiding place where dirt and grime is. I mean, I scrubbed places that didn't even look dirty and when I was done with this bad boy, they sparkled. I WISH I had taken a picture of my shower doors before I whipped out this baby because the before and after could be in an infomercial. If you're tired of hard water stains, soap scum and you're tired of scrubbing until your arms ache only to rinse and realize it doesn't look like you did a thing, then this is for you. Just be careful you don't get too crazy and burn out the motor in your drill. Charge it up and make sure if it's getting hot you let it cool down. Don't press too hard either because that will do a number on your drill. I have a dinky little drill I use for jewelry making so I had to be careful.
I have NO idea why this product would ever have less than a 5 star review. It is a great brush set, I used all 3 in an effort to get some mildew stains off the grout in my shower. NOTHING worked, but a bit of soft scrub (bleach) and these brushes worked like a charm! I then used the larger brush on the floor of the shower, and to remove some soap scum from the glass shower doors. WOW! Where has this been all my life?! Excellent product, works like it should in conjunction with your power drill.
I’m in love with this. I manage many apartment properties and finding people to do the cleaning has been tricky business, so I end up having to get in and clean these horrendous filth pods tenants lived in and left me to deal with when they move out. The ovens and stove tops are usually the worst, and I absolutely hate cleaning. I came across this drill attachment set and let me tell you it helped me tremendously! I still had to get in with a putty knife on some of them but it really cut down my elbow grease time. I’ve posted some pictures for you, the dirty oven is after me attacking it with a green scrubbie for quite some time (note: the white stuff all over is heavy duty commercial grade oven gel cleaner I sprayed on it two weeks ago and still was struggling to get it clean.) and then I received the text that my package was delivered and I ran home immediately to get it and finish the job. I don’t have a picture of the oven before I started but let me tell you it was nasty, one of the worst I’ve seen. If it wasn’t for this drill attachment, I think my arms would have just fallen off trying to clean it as good as I did! My only con would be that it doesn’t have any extension of any sort so I really had my drill all up in that oven, but well worth it.
Best thing ever!!!!!! Used this with glass cooktop cleaner on my clear glass shower door and they look new again!!! So easy! No more magic eraser scrubbing or soap and stinky vinegar to no cleaner looking shower door! Next I'll be trying it on my dirty grout on kitchen floor.
I bought these so that I could use them to clean out our water barrels for our horses instead of doing them by hand.
WOW. I love them.
Othe then when our barrels were new, I have never seen them this clean
These scrubbers are one of the best housecleaning products we have ever bought. They are easy and work like a charm.
I let my tub get extra dirty on purpose because I knew this brush set was coming. In five minutes my tub was sparkling clean. This item is no joke. The flat brushes are awesome for big surfaces and the cone brush hits the hard to reach corners. I liked them so much I bought a set for my Mom.
Used these brushes on some tough stains and grime in the shower. These brushes performed well with my Mikita drill. These brushes seem to be made of decent material and I would assume they will last for some time.
I used CLR Bath foam cleaner to clean a shower stall in much need of TLC. Sprayed it on, dipped the brushes into warm water on my impact drill and went to town. Worked from the top of the stall down, and was surprised at how much gunk was coming off the walls. I switched to the rounded head for the corners. This worked beautifully at removing everything but the bottom corners where the bristles were unable to reach. Still, I was able to clean the entire stall in less than ten minutes and without any arm fatigue. In comparison, I would have to scrub with a brush and wonder why nothing was coming off the walls after two hours of scrubbing. Well worth the price.
I also used it on the glass, and with a slow rotational speed, CLR and water, I was able to clean off the soap scum completely from the shower doors as well. This is a complete game changer.
Have not used the smaller brush yet, but I will try to use it in the corners that the rounded brush could not reach this afternoon.
I highly recommend getting this and a good cordless drill. If you need help cleaning & scrubing then this is the product for you. You will not be disappointed.
I was originally going to purchase the Hurricane Spin Brush but the more I read the reviews the more I decided to look for something better.
The main complaint was power. Most cordless drills have more revolutions per minute than the Hurricane. Many also said that as soon as they applied pressure (pressure is needed to clean) the Hurricane would stop or slow down too much.
I'm disabled & I need something reliable while offering as much help as possible. The smarter choice for me was geting a cordless drill & these attachments.
I must also add that I paid less buying a cordless drill & these attachments than if I would've bought the Hurricane.
